Middle Fork 50k, 22 Mile & Half Marathon

Photo of bridge crossing over Middle Fork River in WashingtonDUE TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Saturday, September 13, 2014, 8:00 AM

The start is at the Middle Fork Trailhead, and the courses take runners up the Middle Fork Trail to the Dingford Creek bridge, to Goldmyer Hot Springs, and further up the valley for the 50k, then back. Both courses have modest climb, since the route follows the river, with a few meanders of the trail up and down the valley slope. The valley features views of the rugged mountain slopes, old-growth trees, majestic cliffs, lush forest, the swiftly-flowing Middle Fork Snoqualmie River, and perhaps some birds fishing along the river. Detailed route descriptions are below in the Details tab.

There are now THREE course options for this event:

  • 50 km (31.1 miles)
  • 22 miles (36.1 km)
  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

This event is being conducted under permit from the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. A Northwest Forest Pass is required for parking. Carpooling is encouraged.

Distances were measured using a measuring wheel and bicycle odometer.
